A Boko Haram member was caught in Yobe


The federal government seems to be decimating the Boko Haram insurgency as another member of the group was apprehended in Yunusari, Yobe state.

According to @Dan-Borno who made the pictures available, the Boko Haram member was apprehended on Wednesday, January 27.
The terrorist was paraded in a vehicle while onlookers watched.
The arrest follows a series of defeat that has been recorded by officers of the Nigerian army although pockets of violent attacks are still recorded in the north east.
President Muhammadu Buhari promised that the insurgency would be wiped out in December, 2015 but cases of bombing are still recorded although the fight has been stepped up by the Nigerian soldiers.
The Twitter use also shared photos of members of the civilian Joint Task Force who apparently helped in the ongoing fight against insurgency

However, no fewer than 10 people were confirmed dead while 30 others were injured following triple explosions that rocked the Chibok town of Borno state. This is coming on the same day President Buhari went to Kenya to discuss issues boderig on insurgency and security.
