Angry Youths Block APC Governor’s Convoy over Hardship Faced

Angry youths on Monday blocked the convoy of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State in Minna, the state capital and complained about the hardships being faced by residents of the state.

The governor’s convoy had obeyed traffic light on the ever-busy Bosso Road near the Obasanjo Shopping Centre when the youths spotted him.
They rushed to his vehicle making uncomplimentary remarks about the actions of his administration.

At a stage, the governor wind down the side glasses of his metallic black Prado Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and exchanged words with them.
The vociferous youths told the governor that civil servant were no longer paid their salaries as at when due and that most of the water taps in the state had dried up since he came into office.

Apparently justifying the policies of his administration, Gov Bello told them that his administration was still trying to put things right.
He said once the investigation on the financial dealings of the last administration was completed, the situation would improve.
