According to Liyanage, who was arrested and dragged to court
shortly after the murder, her spouse repeatedly forced her into
sexual activity with different women and intimidated her.

It is believed Chamari have murdered Dinendra over
fears their sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl
would hurt her career of a doctor. In court she said she
had no memory of the incident that ocurred in June 2014
and pleaded not guilty to murder. The trial continues.
