Buhari arrives in London

Muhammadu Buhari has jetted out of France and has already arrived in London, Great Britain.

The Nigerian president will join other world leaders at the Supporting Syrians conference scheduled to open tomorrow, February 4.
According to his media aide, Femi Adesina, President Buhari will use the opportunity of his participation in the conference, being co-hosted by Britain, Germany, Norway, Kuwait and the United Nations, to continue his push for more global understanding, collaboration and support for Nigeria and other countries in the frontlines of the war against terrorism who are striving to overcome its very adverse effects on affected populations.

He is set to return to Nigeria at the weekend.
Upon his return from London, the pesident will embark on another trip to the Middle East, visiting Egypt, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia between February 28 and March 3.

Buhari already visited more then ten countries since assuming the office in May 29. However, it’s his first visit to United Kingdom.
Following the six-week postponement of the presidential election, the president spent a prolonged period in London, reportedly to rest.
He subsequently spent another nine days in London returning only one day before his inauguration.
