Comedian Gordons has revealed plans to host a comedy show in the Niger Delta regions of Nigeria in 2016.
He spoke to Hip TV on this as well as his plans to release a new music album, saying he started off first as a musician before comedy took a better part of him.
He however dismissed reports that he would be going into music fully.
Talking about his comedy show billed to hold later this year he said he would also be hosting a Gordons Comedy Clinic comedy show in Lagos.
He said the show would feature three top comedians and music artistes to allow for enough time for optimal performances from the comedians.
He intends to bring on a different feel, saying that most comedy shows in Lagos don’t give comedians enough time to express themselves on stage.
Gordons also plans to host a church comedy show, am event in which the jokes will be clean and families can enjoy the ambiance with kids.
He also plans to go on a tour in Europe just as he did in 2008 when he travelled to eight countries.
He revealed that there are plans to travel to the US, Australia as well as Malaysia for a comedy tour given the demands for him in these places.
Speaking on his issue on stage with fellow comedian Helen Paul in 2015, he said it was a ‘healthy fight’.
He also stated that any comedian who comes for him on stage should expect same when he gets on stage to perform as he will not spare anyone.
Gordons is a Nigerian comedian who started off as a singer in the group DC Envoys. He has performed at several A-list shows across the nation and abroad.
He had a humble beginning having stayed with his grandmother through the formative years, as his mother separated from his father when he was only a few months old.
